NEW Zoo Wild Wednesdays: 1/2 Price Wednesdays June – August
Wild Wednesdays are back at the N.E.W. Zoo this summer. That means 1/2 price admission every Wednesday in June, July and August between the hours of 6 and 8pm.
Rates for 2012 (these are regular prices)
- Children (2yrs & under) Free Admission
- Children (3-15yrs) $4.00
- Adult (16yrs+) $6.00
- Senior (62yrs+) $4.00
- Family* $20.00 (* two adults at the same address and dependent children (or grandchildren) under 18.)
Every time I go to the N.E.W. Zoo, I am amazed that such a large zoo is in the Green Bay area. When I was a kid, the zoo was just some cages with chickens and a few small animals but not much else!

It was free admission in the past on Wednesdays after 6pm. Sad they stopped this!
True, but half off is still a deal. Maybe they changed it because it was so popular; every Wednesday that we went, the Zoo was packed!
Some people, like us, can’t afford even half price to take the whole family. We are so very sad to hear that it is not free on Wednesdays from 6pm to 8pm anymore. We always went to the ZOO BOO and then a couple more times during the year on Wed. Evenings. If that many people are visiting the Zoo then they shouldn’t have a problem with having it free for just a couple of hours each week so that the families who are seriously struggling can go somewhere fun and enjoy themselves without having to worry about admission costs. We will just have to go every few years now.
