Party City/Factory Card Outlet semi-annual Clearance NOW

Stopped by Factory Card Outlet in Green Bay Plaza earlier today to do my yearly clearance bin shopping.  Except it’s called Party City now!  The name change came a few months ago, but they’ve actually been the same company for about five years.

This year they have $.50 bins.  That’s right, tons of items marked down to 50 cents each!

I’ve been pretty lucky finding “fancier” items in their clearance bins which I can then mix in with all the basic-colored stuff I get a few doors down at The Dollar Tree.  Like my son’s First Communion decorations; bought them last year and used them this year!  How about Littlest Pet Shop items?  Yup, they’ve got those, too.

The store is quite literally still adding to the clearance bins, so I may go back in a few days and see what new goodies have been marked down.  I usually end up with a lot more stuff that I can use throughout the year.

Here are some of the themes that I saw:

  • Backyardigans
  • Wonder Pets
  • Strawberry Shortcake
  • Thomas the Tank
  • Hello Kitty
  • Littlest Pet Shop
  • Pirates of the Caribbean
  • Iron Man
  • Transformers
  • Twilight
  • Hannah Montana (is it just me, or is this stuff ALWAYS on clearance at every store?)
  • Super Bowl XLVI (not sure what you can do with these…)
  • Wilton pans, icing colors , etc
  • and more!

If the Green Bay store has bulging clearance bins, let’s hope Appleton readers find the same thing.  Let us know in the comments sections so we can help each other out!

I’ve started a Photo Album on the Green Bay Consumer Facebook page for some of the many goodies I found today.

Thanks to Green Bay Consumer reader Kelly for the tip!
