Are you a Copps/Pick ‘n Save shopper that is playing the popular Monopoly Shop, Play and Win game?  Green Bay Consumer wants to hear from you!

Last year I knew several hardcore Copps shoppers who put together the game board. From those boards, we came up with a list of the “rare” pieces.  For a variety of reasons, I don’t know anyone playing the game this year. !?!

If you would like to help, please send us a list of the game pieces that you are missing. We’ll put together a list like this one that we did for last year’s game and share with Green Bay Consumer readers.

    8. Our board is exactly the same except I think we are missing 532 and 536? But we have 534 am pretty sure. Either way, those that have a rare AND a semi rare (with two to find) is a long shot.

    10. Thanks for the list. This makes it easier to check the 30+ tickets I got this morning.

    Now the reality…

    Just note that per the rules for this promotion, there are 115 million tickets being printed for this year’s monopoly game. There are 27,000 or so prizes worth $5+. About 1 in 4300 blue packs will hold the rare one to win one of these prizes (so it’s time to stock up on Lean Cuisine!)

    Most of what you can win is classified as “free product”, which is an item from the store with ARV $1.69 and isn’t even on the monopoly pieces themselves, but the attached coupon The odds of that are still about 1 in every 64 pieces. (I can attest, because I have around 60 pieces and haven’t hit one of these yet).

    Now, knowing the odds favor the house, I still play, because I shop there for certain items when on sale anyway, so I may as well. Most of the coupons aren’t worth it, though.

    14. We played last year. Won one can of frosting. Never used one of the coupons because they were only good for high priced name brands. Doing the same this year. From the 63 tickets we’ve received since the game started 4 weeks ago, we have 73 pieces on our board.

    And oh boy! Just about every piece we now need is on Patty’s rare list.

    I atleast hope to win a small prize or two to offest the increase in prices the store chain must add to its products to cover the cost of the game. So far this year, the only winnings have been a half dozen “Two (2) Free” Game Tickets.

    And I somehow just don’t think they’ll ever contain any rare pieces.

    16. My list matches the original list with the addition of p549 the second poster noted. I do have q544 as another poster noted, so I’m guessing that’s a semi-rare piece. Strikeout on the rest despite picking up about 75 pieces today on double-double daze. I only added one piece today :( .

I personally don’t think there are many of the bigger prizes paid out…with pieces spread out between different states AND different stores AND rare and semi rare pieces, I think the only way for people to win is to brainstorm with other players (like this board does) to match up with someone else and share a win. The other prized like the cash and Ipads, etc and not the bigger ticket ones, I would not be surprised if a few people win them, but most will probably go unclaimed.

    For us, with a big family, we are going to buy the products anyway so we do play…we do NOT buy items just because it has a playing piece. Ever.

    25. There are free items out there. I have won 5 out of only 30 tickets. Cat treats, 1 liter Pepsi, coffee to go, Greek yoghurt, crackers. Small treasures if I can find them! Milwaukee stores don’t appear to carry individual 1 liter Pepsi nor the brand of coffee.

    50. candy, if what you say is true you are a rich corrupt brat with no personal integrity. i am not surprised the company that produces these tickets gives them to whomever they see fit. same situation happened with the mcdonalds monopoly game a few years ago the tickets’ creator gave them all to his family and friends until his girlfriend came forward to claim a prize and felt so guilty she confessed to the scheme. makes me not want to play or shop there at all…

    65. I think this copps monopoly is a hoax. Nobody ever wins, I went into the store and asked a manager and he said no one won yet, it’s rigged. The main pieces you need, they probably wont distribute them. If anyone wants to share let me know. I need: T-527 and T 530

    67. Went online to find game ending date because my daughter is playing and I need to mail her stack of game pieces before it ends. Once I saw the list of winning ticket #’s needed I opened them all = no luck. But I can tell you that on previous game I won $20 and ALL needed game pieces were attached on one game piece. I didn’t even need to waste my time on the board! Good Luck @Mike on the cruise. I tried that with the previous game and paid back the $20 I’d won and more in postage stamps!

    89. Thanks to Ivy for posting the win list. Looks like the vacation is gone. Not sure if there was only one? Don’t have my chart with me. So, looks like a fair number from Wisconsin, but only one winner from McFarland. I know her personally. They must not have had wins at our store because it was SUCH a big deal, they had pictures and balloons and a cake for that winner of a $300 iPod. Still no wins and we spend a grand a month on groceries with our big family and have opened up 4 hundred tickets at least. We won sour cream. whoo hoo :O STill, cheaper than playing the lotto if you are gonna’ buy those products anyway.

    92. yeah, my mom has 527 too, she called me asking to compare our pieces and when I told her she had a “semi’ rare she was so happy, but I told her she would probably not find the other rare one to match , she was devastated. She is 80 and really REALLY thought with all her heart she would win and this was going to be so much fun. When I explained how hard it is to win when you need TWO rare pieces and they are spread all over several states she was bummed.
    I spent 2 hours with my 12 year old tonight with the darn tabs spread all over our table and we have a bunch of instant “get two more pieces” winner ones. I think we have 26 of them but really, taking them back to the same store just means more losing pieces and is so annoying. They probably wont’ even honor now because they are handing the pieces out in doubles now and probably all gone. Anyone have stores that are already out?

    99. The SW ones are sweepstakes ones. They are very common. Once you have SW05 and SW06, put them on a card, and mail it in. It only costs the 45 cents per entry into their contest! What a steal! (from us)

    If you could fill those out, and drop them in store, that would be better.

    104. I have 137 unopened game pieces, ranging from when the game started, to when it ended. Any cash offers before I throw them on eBay?

    For reference, there’s a guy on eBay with 52 of them for $40. I’d probably sell all 137 for around that much.

    105. With 3 families spending combined approx $350 per week, we have won just $10 total over last few seasons. That’s it. We will not play the game anymore feeling it’s a waste of time to go thru all those game pieces with no real benefit.
