This year they celebrate their 110th year!  You can see this band with weekly concerts at St. James Park on Madison Street.  You can catch the music in a family friendly atmosphere every Wednesday from June 13 – August 15 from 7:30 – 8:30 p.m.

In the event of rain, the concerts will be moved to the following Thursday.

  2. Went to St. James Park last week looking forward to the John Phillip Sousa night. Was very disappointed that the band did not play Stars and Stripes Forever. How could they not? Even if they played it two weeks in a row what would be the harm? Even my grandchildren, ages six and nine were expecting to hear it, as they are familiar with that piece. Whatever piece was played that the conductor claimed was Sousa’s most popular composition was totally unfamiliar to us.
