Festival Foods farmers markets start in Green Bay

If you’ve followed Green Bay Consumer for any length of time, then you know that I try to be a locavore, one who eats local foods whenever possible. And you also know that I love farmers markets, too.

One of the many farmers markets I take advantage of are the ones in Festival Foods parking lots!  It’s so easy to pick up the grocery items I might need like milk and eggs, then stop outside and buy some big bunches of carrots or potatoes that were in the ground just a few hours before.

While some of the Festival stores’ markets in our area have already started (Appleton, Manitowoc), the ones in Green Bay are starting this week.  They are always the same day of the week at each location.  They run from 7 am – Noon,  and operate through the first or second week in October.

  • Suamico: Sunday
  • Green Bay West: Monday
  • De Pere: Tuesday
  • Green Bay East: Wednesday
