Meet Green Bay Consumer’s new contributor, Kristin
Last month when I lost my Wingman Stephanie to a real job, I honestly did not know what I was going to do. So I put out the call to the readers of Green Bay Consumer to help with what I think is a pretty great money-saving resource for those in Northeastern Wisconsin. When I got the email from Kristin, I did a Homer Simpson “Doh!” and wondered why I hadn’t thought of her earlier!
I’ll let Kristin introduce herself:

I’m Kristin, the newest member of the Green Bay Consumer team. I started reading GBC over a year ago and then came to find out that my co-worker at Channel 5, Jennifer, was none other than the Bargain Sleuth herself!
I’m no longer in the workforce, as I’ve been a stay at home mom to twin boys since they were born in the fall of 2011. My husband, Brian, and I have been married since October 2010. We live in a great little neighborhood in east De Pere. We enjoy grilling out, taking our boys for walks on the Fox River Trail and to the Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary, and occasionally getting out of the house sans kids!
It was quite an adjustment when we went from a two-person, two-income family to a four-person, one-income family. Reading Green Bay Consumer helped me find a lot of good deals and get rid of some “spendy” behaviors I didn’t even know I had. I’m excited to be a part of this site and help others live more economically.

I know you’ll all give a warm welcome to Kristin as she helps me out with local events and activities that are free or cheap or noteworthy. Welcome, Kristin!
