Piggly Wiggly Double Coupons: spent $8.66 on this!
It’s been a while since I showed you one of my shopping trips. Today I headed to Olsen’s Piggly Wiggly for double coupon day. Check out what I got for $8.66:
- 9 Dannon Oikos Greek Yogurt
- 2 Pillsbury Grand Biscuits
- 2 dozen eggs
- 1 lb strawberries
- 2 pkgs Jones Breakfast Sausage
- 5 pkgs Azteca Ultragrain Tortillas
I had those Azteca coupons since April; patience for a good sale combined with double coupons really paid off!
Notice I didn’t put how much I “saved”? That’s because I believe that it’s not how much you save that matters, it’s how much you spend! But for those that are curious, my receipt said I saved $23.84 or 74% off.
Did you notice something else about this trip? This is mostly “healthy” stuff, not piles of garbage foods. I’m pretty proud of myself for that one.
