The 30th Annual AT&T Green Bay Holiday Parade will take place Saturday, November 23rd on the streets of downtown Green Bay.

The parade is along Jefferson, Cherry and Washington Streets and begins at 10 am.  Free parking will be available in the Pine, Cherry, and Main Street ramps and all nearby city streets.

The theme of the parade is Storybook Christmas.  The University of Wisconsin Marching Band is in the parade this year, along with Bucky Badger!  The band will perform its classic “5th Quarter” show at 11:30am in front of the courthouse.

After the parade, visit with Santa at the Children’s Museum, skate on the Ameriprise Ice Rink on the CityDeck located at the Hagermeister Park patio or join Bart and Cherry Starr as they unveil the Clark Hinkle and Bart Starr statues on the Packers Heritage Trail.

If you can’t make it downtown, the parade will be broadcast live on NBC 26.

I grew up going to this parade with my family and then hiking it up to the Prange’s Terrace Room after the parade for lunch.  Anyone else do that?  There was always a long line to be seated that day.  I still miss the Terrace Room’s chicken pot pie!
