They’ve got an inflatable obstacle course, inflatable slide, bounce house, inflatable combo unit, private event rooms, and a concession area with snacks and beverages. And free Wi-Fi so mom and dad can get some work done while the kids burn off some energy.

Normally you pay $16 for two day passes; right now they’re $8.00 and the voucher expires August 15, 2012.  Click here.

You can also get a similar deal if you have an Entertainment Book lying around.  Don’t have one?  Right now they’re $15 and you can get tons of coupons for family friendly places like Badger Bouncers.

Now that we’ve all survived spring break, it’s not too early to start thinking about summer. More importantly, how to keep our kids amused during the long summer months.

This week Groupon, the grand-daddy of all the daily deal sites, launched the Kids Zone, featuring deals geared towards kids. You can find it on the home page of Groupon, usually in the upper right hand corner of the page. Here’s a closer look at the current deals available under Green Bay:

Here is an additional kid friendly deal under Fox Cities Kids Zone on Groupon:

You can also find kid-friendly deals right now at a few other places:

Sir Bounce A Lots: RTownShopper almost always has 50% off deals for this popular spot.

Monkey Joes: Shop Daily Deals has a deal for a frequent user card.  $30.00 will get you ten admissions (which is normally $60).  The great thing about this deal is you can bring your kid ten times, or you can bring your kid and a friend 5 times, or even bring ten kids at once!

As with any daily deal, make sure you read all rules and restrictions before you buy.

Spring Break ideas for 50% off or more

Remember when every school had time off the week of Easter?  Not anymore.  Now the kids’ Spring Break can range anywhere from mid-March to mid-April.  With that in mind, I thought I’d give you some ideas on the fun activities you can do in Northeastern Wisconsin.  And you can do most of these for a discount.

The past few months I’ve bought a few daily deals and vouchers in preparation for the 10-day break.  Here’s a closer look at some of the things you can get right now.

Groupon is featuring Pro Bowl in Suamico right now.

Kidz Town:   ZinginDealz FOX CITIES has a deal for the Green Bay site. $8 gets you 3 admissions to Kidz Town.  You can often find 2-for-1 admission coupons in the newspaper, too.

Cornerstone Community Center: Open Free Skate for four people is only $10 at Shop Daily Deals.  Normal price for skating and skate rental is $28 for four.  Before you buy this one, make sure there is Open Skate during your kids Spring Break!  Generally speaking, the hours are:

  • Monday through Friday 1:00pm – 2:20pm
  • Friday Evenings 6:30pm – 7:50pm
  • Sunday Evenings 5:00pm – 6:20pm

My kids are out of luck because they do not have open skate the week they are off.  You may have better luck!

Entertainment Books are on sale this week for 50% off (only $17.50!).  Most of the deals found inside are 50% off or more.  Some recreational activities include:

  •  Ashwaubenon Bowling Alley
  • Curly’s Pub
  • Funset Boulevard in Appleton
  • Badger Sports Park
  • Appleton Family Ice Center
  • Mulberry Lane Farm
  • Green Bay Gamblers
  • Monkey Joes
  • Sir Bounce A Lots
  • Gordon Bubolz Nature Center
  • and more!

Also look for the Dining and Entertainment book for Oconto County ($20)which is a fundraising book for St. Anthony’s, the school damaged by arson.  I got my copy at Lou’s Bootery in Suamico.  There are coupons inside not only for Lou’s (which I will use), but Commando Paintball and Badger Bouncers, too!

There’s plenty to be said about FREE Wednesday nights at the Neville Public Museum, too.  Every Wednesday from 6 – 8 pm you can enjoy some of the many exhibits including:

Let’s not forget the Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary, too (weather permitting).  And I’ve always been partial to taking my kids to Hardees on Packerland because of their GINORMOUS indoor play area.  Of course, when I was growing up, it was an outdoor play area.  Kids these days are so spoiled. :-)

What are your plans for Spring Break?
