Bzz Agent: Dr. Scholl’s Campaign

A few weeks ago I mentioned Bzz agent again and how I’d gotten selected for the Dr. Scholl’s Massaging Gel Inserts campaign. Well, I got my BzzAgent kit which contained two inserts and a ton of $5/1 coupons to give to friends and family.

I’ve been wearing them in my shoes every day now. I did have to trim them to fit into my shoes but the Dr. Scholl’s inserts have a guideline showing you where to cut for specific shoe sizes. And I’ll be honest, you really have to wear loose shoes to begin with in order to add the inserts because they made the first pair of shoes pretty tight to wear.  They do make a tighter fit for MEN’s dress shoes but they do not have a tighter fit massaging gel insert option for women yet.

I don’t know about massaging but it definitely makes flats more comfortable to wear on my always-achy hips.  As I previously mentioned, I have hip problems that make it difficult for me to stand or walk for long stretches.

If it sounds like I don’t like them, that couldn’t be farther from the truth. I just thought I’d get my “cons” out of the way first. :-) Like I mentioned, they do make things more comfortable for me and I can wear my “cute” shoes with added cushion to absorb all that gravity hard at work on my bones.  And I can stand in the kitchen for an hour, making and serving supper without the normal degree of hip pain I used to have.

Would you consider trying them if you had a $2 off coupon (which you can print here)?  It looks like they run $10-12 a pair.

I just got selected for a new campaign for BzzAgent so I thought I’d mention it again.

Bzz Agent is a word-of-mouth marketing company.  You sign up, fill out your demographic information, take the occasional survey and if you’re demos match up with a client, you might be invited to join a “campaign”.  Sometimes you get a box with the product, sometimes you just get coupons for a FREE product.  You will always be given informational cards and occasionally coupons or even samples to hand out to friends and family.

All Bzz Agent asks you to do is try the product and tell people about it, good or bad.  AND report back to Bzz.  The more Bzz you create, the higher your ranking which leads to more opportunities to Bzz.  Nice little circle, huh?  And in case you’re wondering, you do not have to be a blogger to participate.

Over the course of the past few years, I’ve gotten a Sonicare Toothbrush, Coppertone Kids Sunscreen, Take 5 Candy Bars, and even some anti-aging cream (ahem, not that I need that sort of stuff).  I’ve tried Bug repellents and dish detergent and mascara, too.

Yesterday I was chosen for Dr. Scholl’s Massaging Gel Insoles.  Not very “sexy”, I know, but I  really am looking forward to trying them.  For those of you that don’t know me well, I have one legs two inches shorter than the other.  Yes, you read right.  TWO INCHES.  Even with adjustments and physical therapy, my longer leg and foot gets the brunt of of my weight which leads to very sore feet.  I’m curious to know how they will feel once I start using Dr. Scholls.

I’ll let you know what I think about the Insoles once I get the Bzz Agent package.
