Looking for some more free concerts this summer? Look no further than Leicht at Nite, a summer concert series held on Thursday nights at Leicht Memorial Park in downtown Green Bay. This is the 4th year for concerts on the Fox River.
Concerts run from 5:30 to 10 p.m. on Thursdays. You can bring in lawn chairs and blankets but no food or drink allowed.
Alcohol, soda and food will be sold at the park. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Downtown Park Improvement Fund. Miller brewing company will be donating 10 cents to the troops for every can tab returned to the collection bottle at Leicht at Nite.

Ever try to plan to go to a concert when you don’t know what time it starts? Yeah, doesn’t work too well, does it? Have no fear. If you’re going to the FREE NFL Kickoff 2011 concert at Lambeau Field, the NFL finally released the schedule of when the performances will happen.
3:15 p.m. - “America’s Game” begins on video screens
4:20 p.m. – Maroon 5
4:56 p.m. – Kid Rock
6:16 p.m. – Lady Antebellum
6:33 p.m. – Concert ends
Theoretically I’ll have plenty of time to get home in time for kickoff.
You’ll want to read the list of do’s and don’ts that the NFL has kindly provided.
The concerts are held on Thursday nights right along the Fox River (near Titletown Brewery) in downtown Green Bay. The event is put on by PMI Entertainment Group, in partnership with On Broadway, Incorporated.
The event runs from 5:30 to 10 p.m. on Thursdays. Concerts start at 6:15 and end around 10 p.m. Lawn chairs and blankets are encouraged but no carry-ins allowed. Here’s the line-up:
- Aug. 11: Unity (Reggae)
- Aug. 18: Nashville Pipeline (country)
- Aug. 25: Bad Boy (‘80s Rock)
- Aug. 31: Johnny Wad (rock)
The last concert is actually held on a Wednesday because of a Packers pre-season game on Thursday September 1st.
Alcohol, soda and food will be sold at the park. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Downtown Park Improvement Fund.
It’s the second season of Live on Main, a concert event series at Green Bay’s Whitney Park every Tuesday night through August 16th.
Not only is there going to be live music from 5:30 – 8:00 pm, there are live art demonstrations each week and you can buy concessions, too.
Tonight’s performer is Big Papa and the Spritzers (Accoustic Rock).
