Heirloom Plant Sales: May 11 & 18

Mark your calendars for May 11th and 18th if you’re interested in heirloom vegetable plants.

The 17th annual UWGB Heirloom Plant Sale is on Saturday, May 18.  They’ll be open at 9am at the LS Greenhouse.  But plenty of people get there early so numbers are passed out at 7 a.m.

All plants are $1.75.

This year the sale features 79 varieties of tomatoes and 58 varieties of peppers, sweet and hot.  They’ll also have other vegetables like eggplant, cucumbers, and lettuce, as well as some flowers and herbs, too.   For a complete list, you can click here.

There is also an heirloom plant sale at Gardens of the Fox Cities, 1313 E. Witzke Blvd., Appleton starting at 8am this Saturday, May 11th. Members of the Gardens and Garden Volunteers may attend the sale early on Friday, May 10th from 2 p.m. – 6 p.m. for both days. Mark your calendars for May 12th and 19th if you’re interested in heirloom vegetable plants.

The 16th annual UWGB Heirloom Plant Sale has expanded to two days this year, the 12th and the 19th. They’ll be open at 9am at the LS Greenhouse.  But plenty of people get there early so numbers are passed out at 7:30 a.m.

All plants are $1.75 or 6/$10.00.

This year the sale features 53 varieties of tomatoes and 45 varieties of peppers, sweet and hot.  They’ll also have other vegetables like eggplant, cucumbers, and lettuce, as well as some flowers and herbs, too.   For a complete list, you can click here.

There is also an heirloom plant sale at Gardens of the Fox Cities, 1313 E. Just a reminder that there are a few heirloom plant sales going on in our area tomorrow.

Mark your calendars for May 14th if you’re interested in heirloom vegetable plants.  There are a few sales going on that day.

The UWGB Heirloom Plant Sale will be at 9am at the LS Greenhouse.  But plenty of people get there early so numbers are passed out at 7 a.m.    All plants are $1.50. This year the sale features more than 60 varieties of tomatoes and 35 varieties of peppers, sweet and hot.  They’ll also have other vegetables like eggplants, tomatillos, cucumbers, and lettuce.   For a complete list, you can click here.
