Green Bay Consumer began one year ago. To celebrate our birthday and to thank the thousands of Green Bay Consumer readers, we’re going to give away some prizes. In fact, we’re so excited, we’re going to give away prizes all month long.
Our final giveaway in our Birthday Bash celebration is a $25 gift card to Green Bay-based Shopko. The chain store is celebrating their 50th anniversary with 149 stores across the country (they are also busy changing over almost 200 Pamida stores to the ShopKo name).
Yes, the history dork in me does find it very cool that I shop at the original store on Military Avenue. Almost no one has a better Green Bay Packers selection of apparel and accessories, Shopko’s Back-to-School sales almost always tie or beat the Big Box stores, too. This gift card could go a long way to cover all your back-to-school needs. Just sayin’…
BTW, if you’ve read Green Bay Consumer long enough, then you may notice that from time to time I forget to type the name of this store properly, I still occasionally write it ShopKo because that’s the way it was when I was growing up.

Today’s giveaway is the 2012 Appleton/Green Bay Entertainment Book. Today we’ll have two lucky winners!
I’ve had my Entertainment Book since December and have used more than ten coupons inside. Even if I’d paid full price for the book, I’d have gotten more than my money back!
Here’s a look at some of the places that have discounts in the Entertainment Book:

Birthday Bash Giveaway: $10 Gift Certificate to Greek Boys Gyros
Green Bay Consumer began one year ago. To celebrate our birthday and to thank the thousands of Green Bay Consumer readers, we’re going to give away some prizes. In fact, we’re so excited, we’re going to give away prizes all month!
Today’s giveaway is $10 Gift Certificate to Greek Boys Gyros, located on Oneida Street, in the heart of one of this summer’s construction zones! Real Greek food that is made by individuals with an authentic Greek heritage. (You can read more about the history of the restaurant in a Green Bay Press Gazette article here).
Couple of months ago I used the Deal Chicken voucher I bought and really enjoyed their open-faced gyro and Greek fries. It was all great, but I really have to point out their awesome Tzatziki sauce! My family has been back a couple of times since then and each time it’s been great! (If you have a “picky” eater, the Fotopulos family can cook up a mean burger, too.)
Just an FYI, Greek Boys is also being featured on WFRV’s Deal of the Day and is regularly featured on RTownShoppper, too.
