Aldi deals of the week
Here’s a look at what’s on sale at Aldi this week.
Things you need to know about shopping at Aldi:
- You will need a quarter to use a cart. They have their carts in a little “jail” and the quarter will release the cart. When you are done shopping, return your cart and you’ll get your quarter back.
- Aldi does not accept coupons.
- Bring your own bags for groceries
- Aldi does not accept credit cards. They accept cash, food stamps/EBT cards, and PIN-based debit cards.

Hooters: Green Bay & Appleton closing
For those that aren’t on Facebook, we posted this Tuesday night:
FYI for our gentleman readers: Hooters of Green Bay,WI and Hooters of Appleton will close their doors at the end of the month. May 28 is the final day for both restaurants.
Both stores have been in the area for more than a decade.
Heritage Hill opens May 18th with Springtime on the Farm
Celebrate opening day for Heritage Hill this year on Saturday, May 18th with Springtime on the Farm!
Activities for Opening Day this year include the ever-popular Pancake and Porkie Breakfast (additional $2 per person), a petting zoo, children’s games, and a visit from Addie the Cow.
Admission Cost:
- $9 for adults
- $8 for seniors (over 62)
- $7 for children 4-17,
- FREE for children 3 and under.
- FREE with Park Membership
Opening day events run from 10am to 4:30pm.
