The Haunted Mansion October 4 – 26

haunted houseIf you just can’t get enough haunted houses at Halloween, here’s another one to try!  The Haunted Mansion opens Friday, October 4.  It’s located at Quietwoods South Camping Resort in Brussels.

It’s much more than a haunted house: you will travel the Morbid Maze of Mystery through the Quietwoods Quicksand Swamp and The Valley of Death.  Next you’re on to the Delusion Illusion Transportation Company where you will experience the Last Ride, and then you will be escorted to Death’s Door and your final destination, The Haunted Mansion.

The haunted house is open every Friday and Saturday through the end of October.   Tickets are sold from 7pm – 10pm on Fridays and 5:30pm – 10pm on Saturdays, with a special “lights on” hour for kids those nights.  General admission is $10, but there are a variety of other options including RIP admission and Burial Simulator.  (If someone tries the Burial Simulator, please let me know because I think that sounds absolutely horrifying.)  The nice thing is that you can order tickets online with the option to print them at home!

The Haunted Mansion is a fundraiser for Southern Door Schools.
