I’ve been a big fan of daily deal sites since they first started offering deals in the Green Bay area several years ago.  I love buying the deals to try out a place that I haven’t been to before.  Many times I love the place so much I become a return customer!

We’ve mentioned them before, but here’s another look at some of the deals still being offered for local establishments:

As with any daily deal, make sure you read all rules, restrictions and expirations before you buy.

Good news for our kiddos feet.  Lou’s Bootery is tentatively set for a Grand Re-opening October 1st.

Louis Weinstein founded Lou’s Bootery in 1948.  He and his son Tom operated the children’s shoe store in downtown Green Bay until they sold the business to Stephanie Wijas several years ago.   The store has been on Lineville Road in Howard since 2008.

Wijas closed the store earlier this summer.

There is a chance that the store will re-open sooner if they get their stock of shoes in earlier!  We’ll keep you posted.
