For me, summer always meant softball, biking and lots and lots of swimming!  Here are some more opportunities to splash away for free if you live in Green Bay.

Green Bay Freebie Nights (residents only) FREE* admission to open swimming at Joannes and Resch Pools from 5-7 p.m.:
Mondays: June 18, July 16, August 6.

Freebie Family Splash Bash at Colburn Park FREE* admission to themed party and open swim at Colburn Pool 6:00-7:30 p.m:

  • Monday June 18 “Birthday Party”
  • Monday, July 16 “Summer Olympics”
  • Monday, August 6 “Everyone Can Be a Lifeguard Day”

You must have proof of residency to get in free

Free Summer Kickoff Party at Resch Aquatic Center June 8th

The Resch Aquatic Center will be hosting a Summer Kickoff Party on Friday, June 8.  Admission is FREE for city of Green Bay residents.

There will be games, music and a chance to register for your favorite summer program.

The party will also offer the chance to get a 10% discount on summer swim passes.  All city pools open Saturday June 9th!

City of Green Bay Resident Discount Pool Pass Fees (regular prices)

  • Student (2-17 years) 45.00
  • Adult (18 years +) 50.00
  • Sr. Citizen (60 years +) 45.00
  • *Family 95.00

Non-Resident Season Pool Pass Fees (regular prices)

  • Student (2-17 years) 76.00
  • Adult (18 years +) 87.00
  • Sr. Citizen (60 years +) 87.00
  • *Family 174.00

Free Water fun in Green Bay

It’s officially summer which means the area pools and water parks are opening up. Yay! There are so many different prices and options for the GB pools, I’ll send you to the city’s website for a complete rundown, whether you’re interested in single day or season passes, student rate or family rate, they’ve got it all listed by pool/park.

But I couldn’t resist putting together a list of all the special FREE and cheap events going on at the pools and water parks in Green Bay this summer:

Neighborhood Family Night Out: Families pay $5 to swim 7 p.m. to 8:45 p.m.
June 22 – Joannes Aquatic Center. + free showing of the movie “Free Willy” at Joannes Park.
July 20 — Resch Aquatic Center same prices + the movie “Beethoven” at Fisk Park.
