“It’s a madhouse, a madhouse!”  Imagine Black Friday at Lambeau Field.  And then double it.  That’s right, the annual Green Bay Packers Pro Shop Tent Sale has been announced.  This year it will be on June 1, 2013 from 8am–5pm in the Lambeau Field Atrium and Pro Shop store.

Most of the previous year’s NFL-licensed merchandised is heavily discounted.

The last time I went, I got two huge bags of stuff, baby onesies, sweaters, tees, essentially all my Christmas shopping done at once.  After swimming through the crowds to find the merchandise I wanted, I had to stand in line for more than an hour to check out.  My total for those two big bags was $100 which is pretty darn good in the world of NFL merchandise.

So, if you’re planning on going, wear comfortable shoes, bring water and snacks, and be prepared to get some great deals on the green and gold.

“It’s a madhouse, a madhouse!”  Quick, name that movie.  Now name the event.  That’s right, the annual Green Bay Packers Pro Shop Tent Sale has been announced.  This year it will be on June 2nd from 8am–5pm in the Lambeau Field Atrium and Pro Shop store.

Why do I call it a madhouse?  Imagine Black Friday at Lambeau Field.  And then double it. The Atrium fills up like game day!

Most of the previous year’s NFL-licensed merchandised is heavily discounted.  Those $100 sweaters they sell in the pro shop can be had for as little as $15 a piece.

I remember going the first year they had the sale in the Atrium and bought two huge bags of stuff, baby onesies, sweaters, tees, essentially all my Christmas shopping done at once.  After swimming through the crowds to find the merchandise we wanted, my husband, the kids and I then had to stand in line for more than an hour to check out.  It all totaled $100 which, in the world of NFL merchandise, is pretty darn good.

So, if you’re planning on going, wear comfortable shoes, bring water and snacks, and be prepared to get some great deals on the green and gold.

In answer to my above question, the quote comes from the 1968 classic movie, “Planet of the Apes”.

Just a reminder that the annual Green Bay Packers Pro Shop Tent Sale is June 4th from 8am–6pm in the Lambeau Field Atrium and Pro Shop store.

Imagine Black Friday at Lambeau Field. And then double it the madness. Most of the previous year’s NFL-licensed merchandised is heavily discounted.  And…

Once again, the team’s football operations staff has provided Packers team apparel no longer in use, including a large assortment of shoes, t-shirts, fleece tops and mesh shorts. Some items are practice-worn gear not normally available in the Pro Shop.”Green Bay Packers website

If you’re planning on going, wear comfortable shoes, bring water and snacks, print some coupons for Curly’s Pub so you can eat there after you’re done, and be prepared to get some great deals on the green and gold.
